Do I have to have any yoga experience to begin sessions?
Absolutely not, just come and have fun. Where you are is perfect and we’ll work from wherever you are.
Is yoga a "workout"?
Yoga pose sequences can be rigorous and intense physical exercise, but intense pose sequences are not always appropriate for all conditions and situations. We will evaluate the correct level of physical intensity and style of practice based on safely and efficiently meeting your individual needs, intentions, and goals.
I’m totally not flexible or in any way athletically inclined, will yoga still benefit me?
Yoga will meet you wherever you are and it asks nothing of you except to show up. There are no prerequisites, no exams, no standards you must meet, no need to be anything that you are not. All yoga techniques can meet you where you are right now.

How often will we meet?
The frequency of your visits depends on various factors. We will discuss frequency of visits at our first session.
Can yoga balance other aspects of my body aside from stretching and strengthening my muscles?
When done correctly, yoga poses are extremely beneficial for musculoskeletal health. However, yoga poses and breath work can help to rebalance every area of the body including the endocrine, digestive, cardio-vascular, nervous, reproductive/sexual, lymphatic, and circulatory systems.
